Wonder Wednesday

Great Ra’sing Readers! How’s your Wednesday going so far? Make sure you’re thinking positive thoughts to have a positive day. Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family! May we continue to express gratitude for life as we given another day to smile, laugh, heal, celebrate, and do the desires of our hearts. Let’s have a moment of silence for the mass shooting in Texas. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Yesterday I familiarized myself with Tik Tok. It was an interesting experience as I learn how to do certain videos. I enjoyed it very much. That’s how life is, we must take the time to learn what life have to offer us. And it’s up to us if we want to embrace the lesson or not. Try to look for the positive in everything. I know it’s easier said than done, but we must learn how to look at things from a different perspective.

Yesterday was definitely a day of test for me. But I’m proud to say that I passed the test. I was confident in saying “No”. You get to a point in your life where you stop putting yourself last. Those days are over of putting myself on the back burner to suffer alone! I have a life and I plan to live it to the best of my abilities! And you need to do the same! Stop living for people and people pleasing! Please yourself and it’s not selfish at all to put yourself first. You have to make sure you are good before you can help anyone else.

With that being said, I challenge you to ask yourself if you are being your authentic self. Ask yourself if you’re being honest with yourself and making yourself happy. Have a phenomenal day! Love and Light!

Monday Mood

Great Ra’sing Readers! How was everyone’s weekend? Hopefully it was a productive one. Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we continue to express gratitude for our life as we celebrate, smile, laugh, and whatever our heart desires. So mote it be.

Today is the day I will be advocating for my son to return home from boarding school. He doesn’t want to stay there until August which I totally understand. I’ll be asking for him to return home in June when school is out so he can enjoy his summer. I’m not too fond of court, because I’ve dealt with court while I was in foster care permanency review, divorce court, mental health court for clients, etc. I’m tired of court. I just want to be done with it.

I hope this will be a lesson for my son that it’s not a good feeling at all to have someone preside over his life. I also hope that he will learn to maintain his self control. It’s a necessity especially with so much going on in this world.

Life doesn’t come with a parenting manual. Everyone have their own parenting style and some may need to switch up. Why? So their child can be responsive to their authority. Every child is different. He just happened to be one of my challenging child who is very open minded and curious about a lot of things. It’s a good thing, but boundaries must be in place to keep him safe. I still want him to enjoy his teen years, but I care more for his safety. Why? Because he’s a growing young black male.

This may be an uncomfortable topic for many in which blacks are still being killed for the color of their skin. I don’t understand why we are hated so much. But I refused to live in fear. I don’t even want my children to live in fear either.

Racism is so loud and ugly. I challenge each of you to think about what can you do to make the world a better and safe place. Remember we all have children and they deserve to have a good childhood. Also remember hate is a learned behavior. Take a look at how you conduct yourself around your children and others. Love and light!

You got this!

Great Evening Readers! How is everyone feeling today? I hope y’all are feeling good or at least in a good mood. Let’s abundant our evening for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we continue to express gratitude for life as we utilize the opportunity to smile, laugh, heal, celebrate and the desires of our heart. So mote it be!!

Today I went walking again at Delaware park. Then afterwards walked for an additional 30 minutes after I was done walking around the park. I was able to clear my mind and express my gratitude for life. I had to ask myself what was I waiting for before I make a major move. I soon realized there wasn’t a need for me to wait on anything, just do it!!!

Have you ever feel on edge as if before you make this one move, it’s something you need to take care of? It’s like okay you need and/or crave for the push/support from family and friends. Well I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to wait on your friends and/or family to support you or give you that push. You’ll be waiting forever if you’re relying on them. Don’t do it!!! Be your own greatest fan! Be your own support! Push yourself to be GREAT! Push yourself to do the unthinkable!!!

You have to learn to have yourself! You have to learn to have your own back! If you keep suppressing yourself, guess what everyone around you will suppress you. And you can’t be mad at them, because you’re doing it to yourself! Being yourself is the greatest gift you can give yourself! Acknowledge your truth and be comfortable with yourself! Yes you’ll hurt some people’s down the way, but that don’t matter. Your mental health is way more important than what people think of you and what they expect you to do and/or be! How dare them!!! And remember everyone don’t deserve access to you.

With all that being said, I encourage each of you to challenge yourself to converse with yourself frequently. Ask yourself questions and please always be kind to yourself. You deserve a lot if you believe you do so. Finally, go ahead and knock that project out! There’s no need to wait anymore! You are responsible for you. And you must create the opportunity for you to excel in life. A loss is never a failure, it’s a lesson. Someone once told me that failure is the mother of success. Because without failure how would we know what we need to do to achieve success. Have a good evening!

Are You Living?

Great Ra’sing Readers! Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we continue to be grateful for life which gives us another day to heal, celebrate, smile, laugh, and do the desires of our hearts.

Readers, how was your weekend? I hope it was good and full of positive memories. I’m really trying to write this blog today. I’m actually lost for words not knowing what to to really say. But I’ll let my hands do the talking as I type. My weekend was bittersweet with mixed emotions. My city, Buffalo, NY endured a mass shooting in Tops grocery stores. Not only that, there were two separate shooting incidents followed by the mass shootout on the same day. I’m pretty sure you heard it on the news repeatedly and/or read it in the newspaper or maybe learned from others.

The shooting has caused a lot of fear among civilians in my hometown. We continue to be killed because of the color of our skin. I don’t understand why we can’t get an anti-hate bill. Every other race gets an anti-hate bill without a problem, but when it comes to us, it’s a huge problem! I just don’t understand how this world works and why we’re hated so much. It’s unbelievable! That’s all I have to say about that situation. I don’t want to feed into the energy of fear and intimidation. This is why I don’t watch the NEWS, because they do a great job in causing fear among civilians. I pray for the families of the 10 that are deceased and the three who survived as well as those who were there in the store working and/or shopping. Their lives will never be the same.

The next day after the incident I had to model for the fashion show. It was not what I expected. There were too many last minute changes. However, I learned that in life you’ll have to make last minute changes for something to work out. I was also reminded to stop doing for people that you should be doing for yourself! And also to stop doing for others that can do for themselves! Why put in the work for someone that don’t want to put in the work for themselves? Remember life is what you make it.

After finishing several projects over the weekend for other people, I decided this was it. I have to stand my ground and put myself first. And that’s not selfish at all. I refused to allow people to make me feel guilty for doing so. Besides what’s the purpose of life if you’re not living? When are you going to start living? Don’t say until things start going well for you. You have to create the moment or else you’ll lose the opportunity.

I challenge each of you to ask yourself, “Am I living?” If not what are you waiting for? Take steps to protect yourself and your family. Take steps to putting yourself first, it’s all a part of self care. Stay safe! Love and Light!

The Warrior Within

Great Afternoon Readers! How was your rising? Mines was beautiful! I will share my experience shortly after we do our normal routine of abundance. Let’s take a deep breath in and exhale slowly. Does that feel good? Yes it does, keep going until you feel relaxed. Now let’s set our intentions! May we abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we forevermore express gratitude towards life. It’s another day to smile, laugh, heal, celebrate, and so much more that resonates with us! So shall it be!

I feel phenomenal and it’s a phenomenal day! I love admiring myself in the mirror well as of today, because I feel GREAT!! Today I walked all the way to Delaware Park and did two laps. It felt so great! Spending time with nature really does uplift our mood. I was loving every moment of the sun. I was sun-kissed so beautifully.

While brisk walking, “warrior” appeared in my mind. Each of us have a warrior within us. Whenever we decided to take the initiative to do something that we feared or dreaded, we activated the warrior in us. If only we knew to utilize it a whole lot more we would see how much it makes us feel. Have you noticed every time you faced that fear, you felt great that you addressed it? It’s the greatest feeling ever to overcome that fear! The warrior within us conquer the battle and we WON!!

Now apply that same energy and determination daily. Utilize the warrior within frequently and you’ll see how your life transform right before your eyes. It’s all about pushing yourself to GREATNESS! You got this!!! I’m rooting for you as you put on your warrior cape! Now go conquer the day and be an amazing warrior that you are!! Have an amazing weekend! Love and Light!

Access Denied!

Great Ra’sing! Today is a beautiful day! Set your intentions and make it a great day! Abundant the day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. Once again we are thankful for life which is another day to live. So mote it be!

How do you feel about too many people having access to you? For some they like all the attention. For others it makes them feel uncomfortable. Or maybe for some they tolerate it whenever they feel like it. Whatever the case may be, be careful of who have access to you.

“Why do I have to be careful Kamil?” You have to be careful for your own protection. A person who have too much access to you may study you. This could be a positive thing or a negative thing depending on the motive. If you’re the type of person who does not like to be alone, you probably let people have access to you whenever. Why? Because you like the attention you’re receiving and you’re always occupied. That’s not healthy. It’s imperative to take and utilize alone time to rejuvenate yourself.

Prior to my evolution, all types of people had access to me. Some wanted me to keep them company, studied me, kept me distracted and so much more. As I evolved, I’ve left people where they had me messed up. Even now there are a few people lingering around. I thought last night how these such people have access to me, but for their own personal gains. This is why having alone time is important. You’re able to discern in the midst of receiving clarity. Last night clarity was on point.

With that being said always remember that your presence is a privilege. Not everyone should have access to you. Set your healthy boundaries in place to protect you. And remember it’s okay to cut people off. They don’t hesitate twice to see if you’re valuable. Know your worth! Love and light!

What About You?

Great Afternoon Readers! How was your day yesterday? I hope it was productive and relaxing. Let’s abundant our day before I dive into this post. Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we express our gratitude for life so that we may continue to smile, laugh, heal, celebrate and so much more. Love and Light!

I’m sitting outside enjoying the beautiful weather. The sun is shining brightly as ever and I’m loving every second of it. Yesterday, I took a walk at Delaware Park. The scenery was so beautiful. I enjoyed hearing the sounds of nature. I also enjoyed a few compliments from people as well as exchanging smiles with others. Overall it was a beautiful experience.

When you spend time with nature, you are relaxed, at ease, and clarity comes to you a whole lot more peacefully. As I’m currently listening to the beautiful sounds of the birds chirping, I think about my journey. It’s okay to outgrow people. And it’s okay for people to be in your life for only a chapter. All that matters is you know what you want. Don’t force people to stay in your life, because you’ve known them for so long and/or you don’t feel like meeting new people.

Take the time to get out and explore whatever resonates with your heart. Stop wasting your time with things and/or anyone that is not beneficial for you. Stop sacrificing yourself for someone thinking that they’ll change for you one day. Let’s face it, you’re not the person they’ll change for. You have to be okay with that. Why stay stuck in a situation-ship that doesn’t foster your growth nor help you to elevate in life?

Check this out, I came across a random post that said something like “the cemetery is the richest place on earth, because it’s where people’s dreams, aspirations and so forth are there.” That was deep. So many of us have dreams and aspirations that we want to pursue, but fear kept us back. Or it may be simply because we’re too busy people pleasing and helping someone else with their dreams. Or it may be because we rely on someone so much that we gave them power over us to think they will help us bring our dreams to fruition. But as soon as they turned your dreams into their own, you’re crushed and decided not to pursue your dreams on your own. Whatever the case may be, you’ve got to hold yourself accountable. Question yourself; “What about me?” Yea what about “you” and your dreams? That’s a serious question to ask yourself.

With all that being said, take time to reflect. Change your mindset and you’ll see everything will start to get better for you. It all starts within you. Only you can hold yourself back. Only you can move forward and strive to the top. Only you are responsible for yourself! Stop waiting until things go right for you, because it’s not until you make some changes in your life. Stop waiting until all your ducks are in order to make some changes in your life. Life is full of uncertainty and it’s forever evolving. Remember time waits for no one. Love and Light!

Great Ra’sing Readers! How was everyone’s weekend and Monday? I hope it was relaxing and enjoyable. I also hope it was a memorable weekend to thank all the mothers for their dedication in raising their children.

Let’s take a quick minute out of our day to abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we express gratitude for our life to live, smile, laugh, heal, celebrate and all the things we desire. So shall it be!

Let’s talk about confusion. No one likes to be put in a position to be confused. But what matters is how we deal with the confusion. It could be a good thing or a negative thing. It depends on your mindset regarding it. We’ve been programmed that confusion is a negative thing and that is not always the case. Sometimes confusion comes into our life to teach us a thing or two by forcing us to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

When confused, pay attention to your emotions. Write them down and ask yourself questions if you have to. Such questions can be; “what emotion is this? What transpired to make me feel this way? What was I expecting? What is the message behind it?” Take time alone to meditate and seek clarity. But most importantly always remember “yourself”!

I challenge each of you to seek clarity in the midst of your confusion. Often times we’re not confused, we just missed a step and/or an important message. Also be very wary of people who tried to cause confusion in your life, because they themselves are confused. Even if you tried to show them the bigger picture to eliminate their confusion, it’s up to them if they accept it or wants to remain confused. Have a phenomenal day Readers!

Goodbye Clutter!

Great Ra’sing and Happy Friday!! Let’s express our gratitude for life and the things we have. Today is a great day! May we abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family! Love and light!!

Let’s talk about decluttering things that no longer serve its purpose in our life. Yesterday I talked about spring cleaning your goals, here’s the link to check it out: https://growingpains4evolution.blog/2022/05/05/spring-cleaning-your-goals/ Now that we addressed our goals, it’s time to address things, events, and people that can hinder our process in achieving our goals. I’m going to warn you right now, you’ll lose some friends down the way once you start getting serious about your life.

But if they are really your friend, they’ll support you. A friend that does not support you nor encourage you is not a friend sorry to bear the hurtful truth. It’s totally normal to outgrow people in your life as you continue to evolve and elevate. I’ve outgrown a lot of people and my life has become more peaceful. Don’t get me wrong, I do have my lonely days, but I’ve learned to utilize my time to complete my projects without any distractions. It’s a great feeling when I complete my projects!

Remember May is the month to be disciplined, consistent, focus, and accomplishing goals. Here’s a link in which I talked about May being the transformation month, https://growingpains4evolution.blog/2022/05/02/its-may/ I’m totally excited for you as you make some changes in your life for the better!!

Today, I’m going to declutter my storage room and get rid of things that does not serve me any purpose. I might as well have a “repurpose” yard sale. My things that doesn’t serve me a purpose can be for someone else’s purpose. Wow! I like that!! My mind is full of so much creativity that I have to make room to expand. But how can I expand in this tiny apartment? Trust and believe the mind can show you how you can expand when you think outside of the box.

So with that being said, I challenge you to declutter your life from whatever that doesn’t serve you a purpose. Let materialistic things serve a purpose for someone else. Watch how your life will bloom even more beautiful when you allow yourself to expand. As you welcome new things, events, and people into your life, make sure they are in alignment with your purpose. Have a phenomenal weekend! Love and light!

Spring Cleaning Your Goals!

Great Ra’sing Readers! How are each of you are feeling? Hopefully you’re feeling amazing! Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we express gratitude for life that gives us another day to heal, celebrate, smile, laugh and to do what we want to do. Love and Light!

Have you ever took the time to revisit your goals to see if they are still in alignment with your purpose? Sometimes whether it be intentionally or unintentionally we create goals that we want or think it would make life better. Anyhow it’s important to revisit your goals to see if some have been accomplished, pending, or need to be eliminated.

Where do you put your goals at? Some put them on vision boards. Some write it down on a paper then put it in a goal bowl or box. Some write it down in their planner and/or journal. Either way you should know what works to help you stay on track to accomplish them.

When revisiting your goals, pay close attention to your feelings towards it. Do you still feel passionate about it? If not, why is that goal there? Please don’t say to impress people, you’ll be miserable. It is totally fine to make changes to what you want to see happen in your life as long as you’re in alignment with your purpose.

Sometimes you may find yourself doing something that you didn’t think would be in alignment with your purpose. For example, I applied to be a model. At the time of first applying, I was just signing up for anything to keep me busy and occupied. As I continue to participate in model rehearsals, I realized it was in alignment with my purpose. Model was to help prep me for exposure in other words becoming use to the crowd. This was needed so I can face the crowd when I do my speaking engagements. Speaking engagements are one of my goals as well as being a blogger and podcaster.

With that being said, it’s spring time and it’s time to do some spring cleaning on your goals. It’s the perfect time to get back on track. Love and light!
