Great Ra’sing Readers! How are each of you are feeling? Hopefully you’re feeling amazing! Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family. May we express gratitude for life that gives us another day to heal, celebrate, smile, laugh and to do what we want to do. Love and Light!
Have you ever took the time to revisit your goals to see if they are still in alignment with your purpose? Sometimes whether it be intentionally or unintentionally we create goals that we want or think it would make life better. Anyhow it’s important to revisit your goals to see if some have been accomplished, pending, or need to be eliminated.
Where do you put your goals at? Some put them on vision boards. Some write it down on a paper then put it in a goal bowl or box. Some write it down in their planner and/or journal. Either way you should know what works to help you stay on track to accomplish them.
When revisiting your goals, pay close attention to your feelings towards it. Do you still feel passionate about it? If not, why is that goal there? Please don’t say to impress people, you’ll be miserable. It is totally fine to make changes to what you want to see happen in your life as long as you’re in alignment with your purpose.
Sometimes you may find yourself doing something that you didn’t think would be in alignment with your purpose. For example, I applied to be a model. At the time of first applying, I was just signing up for anything to keep me busy and occupied. As I continue to participate in model rehearsals, I realized it was in alignment with my purpose. Model was to help prep me for exposure in other words becoming use to the crowd. This was needed so I can face the crowd when I do my speaking engagements. Speaking engagements are one of my goals as well as being a blogger and podcaster.
With that being said, it’s spring time and it’s time to do some spring cleaning on your goals. It’s the perfect time to get back on track. Love and light!
Great Ra’sing Readers! How are you feeling? I feel GREAT! It feels good to come back rejuvenated from my week long vacation with my heartbeats. Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family! May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family! We are thankful for life. It’s another day to smile, laugh, and so much more! ASE!
How was everyone’s spring break and/or week from last week? I hope it was relaxing and fun times with family, friends, and pets. During my spring break with my heartbeats I came down with a little cold. The weather is forever changing throwing my body on an emotional roller coaster. One day it’s 70 degrees then the next day it dropped to 30 degrees along with snow. I experienced all four seasons in one week which I’m pretty sure wreck havoc for many. Well that’s New York for me. Can anyone relate?
Today’s topic is about moving in a new direction. I was in deep meditation today where I was reminded by my ancestors to move in a new direction. Often times we may be afraid of change due to the unknown. It’s normal to feel skeptical, unsure, uneasy, etc., because we don’t know what we’re walking into. I come to share that change is good if we think with a positive mindset. Remember we are to see the good in everything if we want life to be good for ourselves and our family. Change come when we need to learn a lesson and/or to see what we need to change about ourselves for the better.
I encouraged you all to welcome change with open arms. Moving in a new direction can mean change jobs/careers, letting people/things that does not have your best interest at heart, anything that is not beneficial for you. Moving in a new direction is saying “greatness is arriving” and many cannot go where you’re going. You are elevating and many cannot have access to you or else your growth will be stagnant. What are you waiting for? If you keep getting so many signs and confirmations that you need to move in a new direction, YOU NEED TO DO IT!! You know the saying to go with the choice that scares you the most? And that’s because that choice will change you! It’s like you unlock a piece of you that has been locked for so long screaming to be free! You’ll be so relieved that you took on the challenge of facing the choice that scares you.
With that being said my lovely readers reflect on your life. See where you need to move in a new direction whether that be a job/career, relationships, home, friendships, etc. Above it all make each day count, because greatness is arriving!!!
Great Ra’sing Readers! Happy Tuesday! It’s another day for me to share my rubies of wisdom. It’s another day to be GREAT! Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family! It shall be done!
Readers I hope you had a good night’s rest. My night was kind of stuffy due to the dry air. I forgot to put a bowl of water in my room to retain moisture. It’ll definitely be easier to breathe.
Today let’s focus on our gifts/talents. What are your gifts/talents? Have you been utilizing them? Or have you been allowing them to expand with greatness? Our gifts/talents are given to us to make the world more meaningful and full of purpose. Sometimes people are clueless about their gifts/talents, because they don’t pay attention to what they are capable of doing. Marie Curie said it best, “we must believe that we are gifted for something!” One of those gifts/talents will lead us to our passion. As Massimo Bottura puts it “one day, if you have a little bit of talent and a lot of hard work, you’re going to find out who you are.” How exciting is that? To know that our talent and hard work will add to our characteristics does wonder to our work ethic.
I look at our gifts/talents as a whole bunch of presents that are waiting to be opened. As you open each present, be prepared to embrace whatever you’re about to discover. Remember these discoveries are from within that needed to make itself known to you and the world. When we are operating in our gifts/talents, we should be feeling a sense of peace and power within us knowing that we are doing our part to make the world a better place. Susan B. Anthony once said, “the older I get, the greater power I seem to have to help the world.” I can relate, because as I matured, I started utilizing my wisdom, then I felt this peace and power to share my wisdom. It’s so much wisdom within me causing me to speak life. Daily my friend sends me amazing quotes which I’m very appreciative of. The type of quotes he sends me always have me in my intuitive state to search for a deeper meaning. This one stood out, “Don’t try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say” by Barbara Kingsolver. I wouldn’t dare stress myself in trying to figure out what people would like to hear from me. There is power in my words and I know what I say and write will always resonate with someone.
Cynthia Ozick said it perfectly; “We often take for granted the very things (gifts/talents) that most deserve our gratitude!” Are you expressing gratitude for your gifts/talents? If not, why are you wasting them? Don’t let anymore time go by not crafting/honing your gifts no matter where you are. Trust and believe that your gifts/talents are your abundance of wealth, health, happiness, peace, and so much more. Stop doubting what you’re capable of doing. William Shakespeare said, “our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.” That’s deep! Doubts never have our best interest at heart. All it do is have us project fear of failure into the universe without realizing failure is apart of life, that’s if you get back up and try again. It may take three to six tries before you get it right, but all that matters is that you tried and got stronger and more determined after each try.
Let’s take playing the video game for an example such as Super Mario Brothers. That was my favorite game on the Nintendo system during my childhood while growing up. Each level that my character died despite alternating between Mario and Luigi, I became more determined and optimistic to beat the level. I made sure I had Yogi to help my character whether that was to jump high and/or eat those creatures. And when I passed each level, I would yell “yessssss!! About time!!!!” I know ya’ll can relate when playing any game especially chess. I love to say “Checkmate!” The point I’m trying to make in the words of Stephen King, “Optimism is a perfectly legitimate response to failure.” Failure is apart of life, but having optimism is what makes failure a learning lesson to try another way to accomplish whatever it is we’re trying to accomplish.
I enjoy writing this blog, but that’s nothing new especially when I love sharing rubies of wisdom. With all that being said my lovely readers, I challenge you to rediscover your gifts/talents, hone them, and acknowledge their purpose for you and others. But I must warn you with this message I received from my ancestors a few days ago, “stop putting people on your platform that don’t support you nor acknowledge their gratitude to you!” DEEP!!! That was definitely a message for me knowing I love to see people win and I clap for them. With my gifts/talents, I put them on my platform, but they don’t thank me, nor support me nor clap for me. So what does that tells me? It means that my gifts/talents are not to be shared with everyone in other words they cannot utilize my gifts/talents for their own personal gain. Why? Because they are not me and they can’t do what I do! This is why it’s important for people to tap into or rediscover their gifts/talents. There are no short cuts in trying to take and/or use someone else’s gifts/talents. I’m going to leave this quote with you by Beyonce Knowles, “Don’t try to lessen yourself for the world; let the world catch up to you!” Here’s a quote from my book; Evolution of Spiritually Nakedness, “Never take anyone’s doubts of your abilities to heart. They see your capabilities even when you don’t see it” Kamil Gerald.
Abundance, peace, prosperity, happiness, and good health!
Great Ra’sing! Happy Monday!! What an amazing gift to be given to wake up on this day! Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family! Namaste!
How was your weekend? I hope it was phenomenal! Mines was very interesting, yet a lot of reflection took place. I was also experiencing a lot of dream downloads. It left me exhausted, but I gained some invaluable insight on life. Therefore I don’t mind experiencing dream downloads. It means a message is making its way to me especially if I haven’t been paying attention to the signs.
Some dreams may be sweet while others may be intense leaving your mouth and throat dry. When you first wake up from a dream it’s best to write down what happened as soon as possible in a dream book. What’s a dream book? It’s a book where you record your dreams. There is always a message in the dream itself whether it be a warning, a celebration, etc. I have a dream book and I always go back to read it especially if a dream came true. When a dream comes true, I write down in the dream book when that dream transpired.
With that being said take time to reflect on your dreams. Try to understand/comprehend what your dream is trying to reveal to you. Never underestimate the power of your dreams and your ability to interpret it. Yes you may need some assistance for clarification, but the answers are always within you if you pay attention to the signs. Sometimes life events happen for us to be able to understand the meaning of our dreams. Why not invest in a dream book and start keeping track of your dreams? You’ll thank me later that you did. It’s like you’re given a message from the future. How amazing is that? Have a phenomenal day and remember to treasure your dreams!
Great Ra’sing Readers! How was your weekend? I hope it was relaxing. My weekend was full of laughs with friends and family. I had an amazing time. Let’s abundant our day for ourselves and our family before diving into this blog post. May our work and intentions be our prayer for good for ourselves and our family! We abundant all events and lessons we’ve learned in this lifetime to help us become a better version of ourselves. ASE!
It’s Monday and I feel great! Today let’s talk about shifting our perception. I felt this is an important topic to discuss since it came up during my quiet meditation. Often when we are alone with our thoughts, we tend to forget to mind our thoughts. We be thinking about so much things without realizing that it shapes our reality. Hence the saying “you are what you think” as well as “you are what you attract”.
It is so important to be mindful of our thoughts. Because our thoughts shapes our reality through the actions we take based on our thoughts. Deep right? Let’s go deeper…. What if I share with you on how you can change the reality of your circumstances? It’s rather simple, but people make it difficult. I was one of those people who made it difficult. I kept repeating the same story of how I overcame things in my life. And it seemed like there was more stuff for me to overcome. I’m like okay something got to change, because this right here I’m tired of struggling and enduring.
From there I had to learn how to change the narrative of my story. I shared how I overcame circumstances, but I needed to share what the circumstances had taught me from a positive perspective. For example, my circumstances taught me to respect and love myself. Self love is a beautiful thing that makes me feel good in my skin. I radiate love, happiness, peace, and gratitude. My glow lights up and touch the souls of so many people no matter where I’m at. And because of how contagious my self love is, it encouraged the next person to go on their self love journey.
You see how I changed the narrative of my story from talking about overcoming my struggles to acknowledging what I’ve learned. It was only possible by changing the way how I perceived my circumstances. My thought process changed to being grateful for every circumstances, because of the lessons I’ve learned. I used the lessons to flourish from within while expressing my gratitude. Remember every circumstances is not a loss, it’s always a lesson for your own betterment.
When you start changing the way you think, your reality will change as well. Remember to always find the good in everything no matter what. It’s not hard to stay positive even in the midst of people who are always negative. Just don’t let their negativity consume you and remember you don’t have to tolerate the negativity. Excuse yourself from the conversation if you have to. Protect your energy. Laugh and smile as much as you can daily. Have a beautiful day!
Happy Friday! How was your day yesterday? Did you “abundant” your day today? Did you set intentions for the day to be great? I hope you did.
Yesterday was a self-love day for me! I took time to admire myself and my beauty. I was loving all of me and the progress of my workouts. It was amazing!
Throughout the day I’ve thought about success which consisted of my many accomplishments. I’ve accomplished a lot and I am still accomplishing small victories. Success does not always come easy. It takes discipline, consistency, and great motivation within yourself. However, having discipline is the greatest skill to have than your other skills. There will be days when you will not have any motivation nor feel like doing anything. But having discipline will get you through those days. It is the most important ingredient for success.
The second most important ingredient of success is to believe in yourself. What’s the purpose of putting in the hard work if you don’t believe in yourself? You have to believe that YOU can succeed anything you put your mind to. Whether it’s making that delicious meal on the cooking tv show, creating a beautiful scrap book, mending a blanket, coming to terms with yourself, etc. Remember you are not created to be like anyone else. You were beautifully and wonderfully made to stand out from the rest.
Love all of YOU and your flaws! It’s important you love your flaws, because facing them is what builds your success! Do you understand that? I don’t think you did so I’m going to repeat it in another way. Not accepting your flaws are the culprit of holding you back from reaching whatever your heart desires. It keeps you bound unable to move forward and be happy/content with your life.
Many don’t understand that your weaknesses which are your flaws is where you would find your greatest strengths!! Embrace the strength to overcome and be successful! To overcome is a major success within yourself to be able to reach greater height success in your life! That’s powerful!! Remember not all successes comes easy, some may come with a battle. But it’s up to you to get up and be determined to fight this battle to earn your reward! And the rewards are bountiful!! It took me more than 18 years to finally be accepting of me!! That’s my greatest success and reward than anything else. Because there are a lot of people who are very successful but not okay with themselves. They put on a front of being happy when they are not. Many do that because they are afraid of what people will say or think of them. We shouldn’t concern ourselves with the things of this world because they don’t have our best interests at heart. Our world is hurting and looking for love without realizing that they must love themselves first. Because if they don’t they will hurt every person who loves them whether it’s intentionally or unintentionally.
But little did we know that we are actually shaping our future by coexisting with our visions as if it exist. Let me share what I experienced after reading Author Kathleen’s post. I went straight to the kitchen to wash dishes. As I’m washing each dish, I remembered my future which was being happily married to a loving husband, raising my children in a two parent household, doing what I love, living in a beautiful home somewhere in the tropics. I have to be extra honest, I choked back tears. It was a future I remembered from 15 years ago when I was just 20 years old. I actually thought I was on the right path aligning with my future when I got married at 21 yrs old.
Of course I had children. I was working a good job to save enough money to relocate to a beautiful home in another state. How about there was a pause during that journey towards my future. My marriage of three years turned into a domestic violence situation. I lost my job and I was homeless. I was battling in court for a divorce. The ex contested to everything. I was miserable and told him he can have everything. I didn’t want nothing, but just my last name and my children.
I didn’t give myself time to heal before jumping into another relationship. After a year and half of getting to know another man, I gotten remarried. And I was in this marriage for 10 years. Again I thought I was in alignment with my future. I worked a real good job, relocated to another state, etc. I was no where aligned with my future at all. I thought I had lost everything and had to start life anew when I moved back to my hometown. But I realized I gained a lot of skills and knowledge to help me reach my fullest potentials.
I share my experience with you all, because at one point in our life we may remember our future. And we may not be aligned with our future, because maybe it wasn’t us that planned our future. What I mean by that is are we planning our future based on the expectations of people? Or are we planning based on our own expectations of ourselves.? Is this what we really want for our future? If not then we need to change the narrative of our future. As for me, I have to tweak my future and that’s okay. It’s another opportunity for me to plan my new future how I want it and remember it.
With that being said take the time to remember your future and make some necessary adjustments if you have to. There is no penalty at all. This is your life and only you can control it by the decisions you make. Until next time my readers take time to reflect.
